Seed Planning and Registry Application Workshop

The Seed Planning and Registry application (SPAR) is a web-based information management system that provides clients with direct online access to a provincial registry of forest tree seed and seedling request system. This workshop will provide comprehensive tutorial on various screen and functions in the SPAR application. Topics covered will be:
Participants must bring their own laptop with the latest version of IE or Firefox installed (not Chrome).

- Geographic Based Seed Transfer (GBST) and Climate Based Seed Transfer (CBST) and appropriate seedlot selection using both transfer methods;
- the seedling request and seedlot selection screens that includes troubleshooting of common errors;
- seed map screens and how they can be used to aid with planning and;
- planning for your seed needs and how SPAR reports can help you
