This workshop is the follow-up field component of the winter workshop theme.

The coastal and coast-interior transition zones are blessed with a healthy mix of native tree species. Maintaining or even enhancing this diversity is currently viewed as one of the important components of “forest resiliency”. As well, it is widely accepted, the establishment and maintenance of a species mix may help buffer the possible negative impacts of climate changed.
